Graduated with honors in Economics, with a specialization in Business Management and Marketing, from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 2009, in 2010 Valerio attended the Operational Master in Intellectual Property and Anti-Counterfeiting (MOPI) by Convey Intellectual Property. Since 2013, he has been registered with the Order of Industrial Property Consultants in the Trademarks section and is accredited with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).
Valerio's consultancy activity, for both domestic and international clients, encompasses a wide range of specialized services. These include strategic analysis of trademark portfolios, opinions on registrability based on prior art searches, and the filing of trademarks and designs at the national, European Union, and international levels. Other areas of expertise include the maintenance of IP rights (responses to objections, official actions, and third-party challenges, as well as surveillance), extrajudicial defense of industrial property rights (sending cease and desist letters, oppositions before UIBM and EUIPO, coexistence agreements), resolution of domain name disputes, and anti-counterfeiting activities. Valerio has also gained professional experience in brand licensing in the fashion sector and brand naming.
