Graduated in Chemical Engineering at Turin Polytechnic, holds a Master in Business Management from the Institute for the Business Training (IPF) in Turin.
Industrial Property Consultant on Patents for Industrial Inventions and for Utility Models as well as on Designs and Models since 2001, after fifteen years of industrial experience as Technologist and Licensing Manager within Italian multinationals operating in the sectors of oil refining, lubricant oils, rubber, power transmission systems, telecommunications and heat exchange equipment.
She deals with prior art patent searches for both patentability and freedom to operate, and the drawing up of the relative opinions; the drafting of Italian Patent applications, European Patent applications and International applications according to the Patent Cooperation Treaty(PCT), and the prosecution activities of such applications; the translation of patent documents from Italian into English and French, and vice versa;the monitoring of new applications filed and/or of new patents granted in a particular technical field or in the name of a specific competitor in Italy and/or abroad.
Besides her professional activities, she intensely participates in educational and conference commitments.
Since 2010, she is an Authorised Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office(EPO)and, since 2011, an Authorised Representative for Designs and Models before the European Union Intellectual Property Office(EUIPO).Since 2004, she is qualified to practice the Profession of Industrial Property Consultant-Patents Section and, since 1987, to practice the Engineer Profession.She is a Member of the European Patent Institute(EPI)since 2010, of the Italian Industrial Property Consultants’ Register-Patents Section since 2005 and of the LES-Italy, the Italian Group of the Licensing Executive Society(LES)since 1998.
