Barbara Silenzi
Graduated in Economics at the Polytechnic University of Marche, after some professional experiences in the training field taking part in EU funded transnational projects, in 2001 she began to deal with industrial property taking care of the management and protection, for over 10 years, of the trademarks, and designs portfolio of a multinational fashion company. During this period Barbara had the possibility to acquire a deep knowledge of various aspects of the contracts, with regards to both granting of trademarks licenses, and acquisition of trademarks packages.
Her interest in the industrial property field led her to become a trademark and design consultant. Since 2012 she has been handling the filing of national, international and foreign trademarks. Her practice deals with registration procedures in all the various phases, with particular expertise in the management of official actions and rejections. She handles the filing of oppositions before the UIBM, the EUIPO and foreign national offices, as well as the filing of applications for declaration of invalidity of trademarks and designs before the EUIPO. Her consultancy activity, for both Italian and foreign customers, includes the out-of-court defense of industrial property rights (trademarks and designs) and anti-counterfeiting activities.
Barbara is an Italian and European Trademark and Design Attorney, accredited by the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and EUIPO.
