Irma Spagnulo

Graduated in Law, has taken part in the International and Comparative Intellectual Property Programme, at the University of Victoria, in Canada. She has a Master in Industrial Property Management, gained at Milan Polytechnic.

She is expert in the management of trademark portfolios at worldwide level, with particular competence in opposition procedures before the EUIPO (European Union Industrial Property Office) and the UIBM (Italian Patent and Trademark Office). Her consultancy activities support Italian and international clients regarding all the aspects of intellectual property, especially relative to trademarks, designs and domain names. Her activities include the sending of notices, the drawing-up and implementation cancellation actions, oppositions and appeals at the competent Trademark and Patent Offices. She upholds trademark, design and domain name rights all over the world. She draws up and controls trademark agreement assignments or licenses.
She has been Member of the Association of Industrial Property Consultants (trademarks) since 2006, as well as European Consultant in both Trademarks and Designs and Models.

Irma Spagnulo is involved in the ECTA (European Community Trade Mark Association), and Member of the Harmonisation Committee and Publication Committee. She is also a Member of the INTA (International Trademark Association) Member and is on the Non-Traditional Trademarks committee. In 2014, she was awarded Prize for “Recommended Individual” of The World's Leading Trademark Professionals (www.wtr1000.com).

She often takes part as speaker in conferences on the IP area.
